Asterisk is an open source PBX, highly flexible and customizable. You can do with it pretty much anything, with a fairly low effort.

Obviously, Asterisk is a typical candidate for virtual numbers: if you have a virtual number and a termination provider, you don't need physical lines at all!

We provide here configuration instructions for asterisk and some virtual number suppliers.
